Jean Allen-Buckingham left her earthly home on October 1st surrounded by her loving son, Harry, daughters, Patricia and Betsy, and her devoted granddaughter, Nora Bazuin. She was greeted in heaven by her two late husbands, mother, father, 11 siblings and a thousand other friends and family. Safe journey mom.

Jean Allen was the 11th child born to Orlando Timothy Allen and Katherine Marie (Sheehan) Allen, at Southern Cross Montana.

Jean spent most of her younger years in Butte, Montana, as her father worked in the Butte mines. In 1938, the Allen Family moved to Broadwater Co. In 1941, Jean married Harold Bomar, from this union, son Larry Bomar was born. Jean became a war widow in 1944. On June 1st, 1946 Jean married Richard (Dick) Buckingham from Townsend, from this union, son, Harry, and daughters, Patricia and Betsy, were born.

Jean was preceded by husbands, Harold Bomar and Dick Buckingham, parents, brothers: Johnny, Connie, Jamie, Harry, Bobby; Sisters: Bessie, Marguerite, Mary, Martha, Helen and Ann; son-in-law, Richard Breidenbach, grandson-in-law, Justin Jones, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by sons: Larry Bomar, Harry Buckingham (Kathy), and daughters: Patricia Buckingham (Greg Hahn), Betsy Riley (David Riley), daughter-in-law, Sharon Stockstad (Gordan); eleven grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 24 great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean, was a great softball player, hitting numerous homeruns for her lady’s team, she also was an accomplished bowler. Mom was a marksman with all calibers of rifles. Jean will be greatly missed for her wisdom, humor, and unconditional love for her family and friends.
