Blanche M. Lawrence, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 3, 1930, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of James Q. and Elizabeth (Howard) Brady and remained a lifelong resident of the area. Blanche married the love of her life, Verlin O. Lawrence on July 1, 1950. She attended Jefferson Church of the Nazarene and was a former member of the North Kingsville Free Methodist Church, the Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she taught Sunday school, and the Kelloggsville Church of the Nazarene, where she was active with the 55+ group. She will be remembered for being a great home maker, taking wonderful care of her family and loved spending time with them. Blanche always had a smile, despite any difficulty she may be facing. She was a phenomenal baker and made the best apple and blackberry pies. Blanche liked to make crafts, enjoyed tending to her flower gardens at home, watching the birds, and playing with her cats. Mrs. Lawrence is survived by her 2 sons; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 63 years, Verlin O. "Fid" Lawrence on May 28, 2014; great-grandson, Lucas Lawrence; and her siblings, William Brady, Paul Brady, Jim Brady, Naomi "Nicky" Myers, Ruth Lawrence and Dorothy Griffis.
