SERVICES FOR LEO F. CROW
Leo Fay Crow, 60, long time resident of Centerville, passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital Monday, January 29. He had been in failing health since a heart attack suffered two years ago on Thanksgiving Day.
Mr. Crow and his wife lived at 701 Park Ave. He had operated his own shop and barbered for 37 years.
He was born on a farm south of Unionville, Iowa August 17, 1901 the son of Samuel and Mary Swank Crow. On February 20, 1924 he was married to Eva Sachs. He was a member of the Church of Christ and the Barber's Union.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, a grandson, five brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Leo and Robert and their wives, two grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Lee Walker and Mrs. Roy Davison, four brothers, Glen, S. F., Charley and Carl. The family are all residents of Centerville, except a brother, Glen, who lives in Rockford, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held at the Miller - Wehrle Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31, at 3:30 p.m. Darrell Witmer of Moberly, Missouri will officiate. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
