Pearl was born in Wortham Bend, Texas, to the late John and Addie (Thomas) Wortham. She was a sales clerk at J. C. Penney's Department Store for 12 years and at Quick Pak Food Store for 21 years. She was a member of Lakeview Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Earl Anderson, in April, 1981; sisters: Ella V. Romine, Myrtle Lehman, Mary White, Ima Lou Asquith, Laura Hilliard and Johnnie Paulk; brother, George Wortham; and a son-in-law, Bill Dameron in 2006.
Survivors include her daughter, Dolly Dameron, of Waco; sons: Tommy Anderson and wife, Jo Ann, of Elm Mott, Jerry Anderson and wife, Barbara, of Clifton, and Scott Anderson and wife, Roberta, of West; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
