Jerry was born Nov. 9, 1924 in Genoa, NY and was the son of Harry and Lillian (Close) Fulmer. He retired in 1990 from General Motors where he had worked for 20 years. He was a member of U.A.W. local #1112, Hubbard V.F.W., Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and carpentry. Jerry served in the U.S. Army during WWII stationed in France and Germany.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years Rose Mary (Pondillo) Fulmer whom he married Oct. 13, 1944. He is also survived by two sons Larry and his wife Chris Fulmer of Austintown, John and his wife Betty Fulmer of Lordstown, a sister Merle Staehle of San Jose, Calif and five grandchildren, Matthew, Jerry, Sherry, John and Michael Fulmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Stanley Fulmer.
