DEATH OF MRS. ELLEN MILLER
Mrs. Ellen Miller, widow of the late William Miller, died at the home of her brother, William Stanton, in Washington township, Jones county, Iowa, last Saturday night, March 17th. Mrs. Miller had been at the home of her brother during the past winter.
Mrs. Miller was born in Garryowen March 15, 1848. Since her marriage she had lived for many years in Delaware county. She is survived by three sons and one daughter and her brothers, David and William Stanton, and one sister, Mrs. Michael Boyle, of Garryowen.
The funeral took place on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Patrick's church, Garryowen, Rev. P. J. Coffey officiating.
The pallbearers were Ed Dullea, Walter Noonan, Dan Noonan, M. Reddin, James Dunn, John W. Mahoney, Pat Callahan and John O’Meara.
