Anna Mae Hanko Robinson, 82, of New Braunfels, Texas, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, in Schertz. She was born in Streator, Ill to Michael and Susan Drabik Hanko on Dec. 13, 1924.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James H. Robinson; and 12 siblings.

Anna is survived by two sons, David Thomas Robinson of Dewville and Daniel John Robinson and wife Georgia of Fort Worth; three daughters, Mary Jane Robinson of Austin, Joan Ann Mead and husband, John of New Braunfels, and Caroline Susan Hernandez and husband, John A. Schertz; eight grandchildren, Jonathan William Edwards, Joseph Daniel Blumberg, James Schindler, Timothy Schindler, Heather Kay Robinson, Starla Dawn Smith, Jennifer Ann Sanders, Anna Lisa Robinson, and Edward Anthonly Hernandez; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.

Viewing and visitation were held in the Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon on Monday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to noon.

A funeral service took place Monday at 2 p.m. in the Dewville Undted Methodist Church in Dewville, with Pastor John Britscch officiating. Burial followed in the Dewville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoication or to the charity of one's choice.
