June Ashby Healey, 78, of Alpine died August 5, 1993 in Provo.

She was born June 8, 1915 in Lund, Nevada to Bryant H. and Lillian Wakeling Ashby.She married Maurice E. Healey November 8, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Cardston Alberta LDS Temple. He died August 24, 1986. She married Trevor Christensen April 1, 1987. They were later divorced.

She was a lifetime member of the LDS Church. She had served in many positions including Relief Society president. She spent her last few years living in St. George, and Provo

She is survived by a son and two daughters, Boyd M. Healey (Mahala), St. George; Mrs. David (Mayrene) Bickmore, Mrs. James (Geraldine) Baumgarten, Provo; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Mrs. John (Fay) McKenzie, Sparks, Nev.; Edith Reid, Lund, Nev.; Anthony Ashby (Larene), Provo; Woodrow Ashby (June), Sparks, Nev. She was preceded in death by a son, Allen, a sister and five brothers.

Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the Alpine 1st Ward, 165 North 100 East. Friends may call Sunday from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South at 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or at the ward chapel from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Alpine City Cemetery.
