BRYANT H. ASHBY RITES ARRANGED
ELY, July 27--Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in Lund under the direction of the LDS Church for Bryant H. Ashby, 78, long-time resident of Lund, who died Sunday afternoon at an Ely hospital.
Mr. Ashby was born in St. George, Utah, Decmber 11, 1871, and came to Lund in 1898. He lived in Lund for many years and after a few years in East Ely he returned to Lund in May of this year. In 1895 he married Lillian Wakeling in the St. George LDS Temple.
Survivors include his widow; sons, Garr of Lund; Paul of Medford, Oregon; Clark of Yarnell, Arizona; Fielding of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Anthony of Alpine, Utah and Woodrow of Ely; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Sinfield and Mrs. Edith Reid of Lund; Jane Healey of Hamilton, Montana and Fay McKenzie of Ely.
Services were held in the Lund church and burial was in the Lund Cemetery.
