HARNED, FRANCES HATFIELD , formerly of Louisville, KY and Chattanooga, TN died Friday, May 4, 2007 at Landmark Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 82. She was a loving wife, caring mother, and a member of Christ Church, United Methodist in Louisville, KY. Daughter of Chester Hatfield and Mabel Rudd Hatfield of Chattanooga, TN, Frances received her baccalaureate degree from the University of TN at Chattanooga. Frances is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Delph Harned, of Louisville, KY. She will be sorely missed by her children, son, David Juston Harned and wife, Rita Burris Harned of Baton Rouge, LA and daughter, Nancy Harned Baukema and husband Paul Richard Baukema of Roscoe, IL. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Rachel Harned, Clay Harned, Luke Baukema, and Emily Baukema. A funeral service will be held at Christ Church, United Methodist, 4814 Brownsboro Road at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, followed by burial at Resthaven. Visitation will be at Pearson's Funeral Home, 149 Breckenridge Lane from 5-8 p.m. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Christ Church, United Methodist.
