BARKER - John E., 52, of 11571 65th Ave. N, Seminole, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 1973. Born in Gassaway, W.Va. Came here 8 years ago from St. Albans, W.Va. Mr. Barker was the assistant manager of major appliances at Montgomery Wards, Central Plaza and was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, Seminole. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred M. (nee Moon) Barker; a son, John E. Jr. of Kingsport, Tenn.; 3 daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Ester of St. Petersburg , Miss Janice L. and Miss Susan E., both of Seminole; two brothers, Henry and Richard, both of Charleston, E.VA.; a sister, Mrs. Virginia Douglas of Fort Lauderdale; and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. from the Lewis W. Mohn Funeral Home, 9700 Seminole Blvd. with the Rev. Paul R. Aughinbaugh officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today 2-4 and 7-9.
