Rua Elizabeth Aday departed this life on Friday, September 7, at the age of 96. The daughter of Jake Hall and Dovie (Pirtle) Hall was born December 9, 1921, in Catoosa. Rua grew up on a farm in Coweta.
Rua was preceded in death by her husbands, Horace Aday and Bill Jones; infant son, Arnold Foster; her parents; brothers: Walter Hall and infant twins, Ray and Raymond Hall; and sisters: Irene Snelson, Georgia Hollingshead, and Lucky Sudder.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 11, at Mobley-Groesbeck Chapel with her brother-in-law, Russell Aday, officiating. Rua will be laid to rest at Woodland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday 12-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
