Mrs. Lumina Conklin, 91, passed away at the home of her son, R.C. Conklin, 403 Allegan street, Plainwell, Tuesday morning. She was born in Middlefield, Ohio, April 16, 1849. Her husband, Charles Conklin, passed away in 1908. She had lived in Otsego, Allegan and Plainwell for the past forty years. Mrs. Conklin was a member of the First Baptist church of Allegan. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Harry Lince, and one son, Reuben E. Conklin, of Plainwell, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held today at the residence of her son in Plainwell, with burial in Mt. Home Cemetery, Otsego. Pardee and Schlueter of Otsego will be in charge.
