Mr. Lemoin enlisted at Heath, Allegan, MI, in Company F, 24th Regt, Michigan Infy Vols, and was honorably discharged 30 Jun 1865 at Detroit. When he applied for a pension on 26 Feb 1897 he said he was suffering from rheumatism and liver disease. In his pension application in 1907 he described himself as 5' 5", of light complexion, black eyes, light hair, a farmer. In an application 19 Jul 1917 he said he was 5' 7", with fair complexion, hazel eyes, dark hair. He said he had lived continuously in Allegan County after leaving the service. He married Harriet E. Porter on October 19, 1878 in Allegan Co., MI.
