Donald Rutledge, 70, of Littlefork, Minn., died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at Rainy Lake Medical Center, International Falls, Minn. He was born in Osceola, Wis., on Dec. 8, 1947, to parents Ray and Rose Rutledge.
Shortly after his birth, the family moved to International Falls. Don attended public school in the Falls and graduated in 1966.
He then entered the Air Force to serve his country, spending time at various air bases in the United States and also Viet Nam before receiving an honorable discharge.
He spent many years after his military service in the Minneapolis, Minn., area. He moved back to International Falls in 2007. Don has most recently been residing at the Littlefork Care Center.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Rose Rutledge; brothers: Ray Jr. and Rick; and sisters: Marlene Plumridge, Irene Jensen and Mary Ann Rutledge.
He is survived by his brother, Jerry Rutledge; sister, Debra Carr; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery, International Falls.
