Irene Stella Jensen, 63, of International Falls, MN passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the Rainy Lake Medical Center. She was born on October 20, 1950 in Littlefork, MN.
She grew up in International Falls and graduated from Falls High School Class of 1969. She worked for Boise Cascade in the Finishing-Shipping Dept. for 18 years. She drove school bus for 13 years until her retirement.
Irene married Roger Jensen on February 25, 2005. They moved to Bemidji, MN in 2008, and returned to International Falls in 2013.
Irene was known for her Special Acts of Kindness. She enjoyed knitting, ice fishing, and going to the casino. She was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Rose Rutledge; brothers, Richard and Raymond; sisters, Mary Ann and Marlene; step-son, Jack; and her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Riley and Natasha.
Irene is survived by her husband, Roger; son, Gary Jensen; daughters: Rudean (Bob) Keith, Robin Weilage (Bruce), Rhonda (Randy) Salmon, Shana (Jeremy) Alexander, and Randi (Scott) Sander; many cherished grandchildren; brothers: Jerry and Donald Rutledge; and sisters: Linda Salo and Debra Carr.
Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
