Mrs. Cheatwood was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was retired from White Plains High School as a lunchroom worker. Mrs. Cheatwood was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Cheatwood.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Angela (Klarke) Schmick, Anniston, AL; her twin brother, Jimmie Busby, Anniston, AL; a niece, Marsha Busby; and a nephew, Derrick Busby.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Harris officiating.
Pallbearers will be: Brandon Jerome, Matthew Jerome, Dewayne Jerome, Kenny Coleman, Scott Schmick, and Johnny Lewis.
Burial will follow in Chosea Springs Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
