Survivors include his wife, Carrie Lou Cheatwood; a daughter, Angela (Klarke) Schmick; and a brother, Archie Cheatwood, all of Anniston.
Mr. Cheatwood, a native of Edwardsville, Ala., had been a resident of Cahoun County for the past 53 years, residing at his mother's previous home on Hwy 9 in the White Plains community. He served in the Alabama National Guard for 23 years and was an employee of Tyson Glass for 25 years. He was a member of White Plains Baptist Church.
