Mrs. Jennie I. (Rafus) Dexter, 67, of Atkinson Street, wife of Loren G. Dexter, died at her home early today after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at in Immanuel Episcopal Church with burial in Wilmington. Friends may call at Fenton & Hennessey's Funeral home this evening from 6 to 9 and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 6 to 9. She was born in Groton, N. H., June 26, 1888, a daughter of Morris and Annie (Swinimer) Rafus. Her marriage to Mr. Dexter took place June 27, 1908. The family moved here from Wilmington 27 years ago. Besides her husband she leaves six sons, Frank and Richard of Springfield, Allan of Stockton, Calif., and Maurice, Claud and George L., of Bellows Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Mileskl of this town and Mrs. Annie Turner of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Frank T. of Readsboro, Earl of Wilmington and Ray of Maryland; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
