A homemaker who loved dogs and cats, Rose J. Kennedy, 85, died in a Battle Ground care center Monday, June 10, 1996.
A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Kennedy was born April 20, 1911, in Lincoln, Neb., and had been a Clark County resident since 1945. She liked gardening.
Her husband, Doc, died in 1984, and a son, Harold, died in April 1996.
Survivors include one son, James D. of Vancouver; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Columbian, Tuesday, June 11, 1996
