STINER

Isaac Stiner living across the creek on A. O. Dankers place died Friday Mar. 20th. He was born near Maquoketa, Jackson Co., IA in 1851 and was nearly 63 years of age at his death. In 1894 he came to this vicinity and located on what is known as the Bunch farm. He assisted the late John Adkins on the farm -- also worked for John A. Buck and others. He was never married & he and a bachelor nephew, George Stiner lived together. Uncle Ike leaves two brothers - One Dan Stiner resides in this vicinity, John who lives in Kansas City who could not be present at the funeral. He is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Sarah Allen & Mrs. Rebecca Kerns of Wymore, NE, both of whom were here. The funeral service were held at his home Sunday March 22, conducted by Rev. S. F.
