Obituary for Wesley John Burgin
Wesley John Burgin, 78, of Milford passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at the Hawkeye Care Center in Milford. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Milford Cemetery. The Schuchert-Lentz Funeral Home in Spirit Lake is in charge of arrangements.

Wesley was born on September 12, 1938 in St. James, MN to Ralph and Muriel (Lofgren) Burgin. He graduated from Milford High School.

He worked for Spencer Foods and later went to work for Style Craft as an Upholsterer. He enjoyed going down town in Milford to the coffee shops and harassing his friends. He was nicknamed “Trouble” by many of the people he teased. Wesley was a master recycler. He never threw anything away, he felt everything had a purpose or a use.

Wesley is survived by his two son’s Mitch Burgin of Milford and Dan (Carla) Burgin of Des Moines; brother Stan (Bernice) Burgin of Milford; and two grandchildren, Abbie Burgin and Fiancée Jesse and Cody Burgin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Wesley’s name.
