Passed away on July 4, 2014 at the age of 67. He was the only child of Luther Edward Hall, Jr. and Mildred Eva Marshall Hall born November 15, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Luther was raised in Indianapolis and attended IPS School #43. He attended and graduated from Shortridge High School, class of 1964. In 1976, he matriculated from Marian College with a BS in Business Administration.
On December 20, 1969, Luther married Allyson Williams Hill and together they shared 30 years of marital bliss. Luther and Allyson were blessed with three daughters.
Luther began working for The Hartford in 1973 and retired as a Senior Marine Underwriter after 31 years of service.
Luther was a member of University United Methodist Church, the Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Bachelor Benedict Club, the Versatile Eleven Club, and various hobby clubs.
Luther was preceded in death by his wife, Allyson W. Hall and his parents, Luther E. Hall, Jr. and Mildred M. Hall.
Luther will be sadly missed by his daughters, Lorraine E. Miller (Brad), Jacqueline R. Hall, and Sharon R. Hall; granddaughter, Karlissa Carpenter and grandson, Xavier E. Carpenter. And many other relatives will mourn his passing.
Services will be at University United Methodist Church 5959 Grandview Dr. Indianapolis, IN, with visitation Friday, July 11 from 9-11 a.m. and funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will at Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements: Stuart Mortuary .
