April 16, 1892 ~ October 21, 1975

Mila Bond, 83, Bethel, died Tuesday in a Texarkana hospital.

Born in April of 1892 in Bethel, I. T., she had lived in that area all of her life. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

Surviving are five daughters, Melcie Peters and Bessie Bohannan of Bethel, Mary Ludlow and Minnie Ludlow of Honobia and Lula Bohannan of Paris, Texas; three brothers, Sampson Bond of Bethel, Wayland and David Bond of Honobia; one sister, Effie Wallace of Broken Bow; 24 grandchildren, and 37 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kullichito Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Eli Samuels officiating.

Arrangements and burial in the Kullichito cemetery are under the direction of Norwood-Welch Funeral Home.
