Mrs. Dora Perry Crabtree, 85, passed away, Friday, August 24, 2018 at Hock Family Pavilion.
Mrs. Crabtree was born January 14, 1933 in Durham, NC to the late Elbert and Mamie Perry.
She was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church and attended the Faith Sunday School Class. Mrs. Crabtree loved going to church and spending time with her family. Mrs. Crabtree was a loving and devoted wife, mother and sister.
Mrs. Crabtree is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ross Crabtree; parents, Elbert and Mamie Perry; brothers, Edward Perry, Tom Perry, Willie Perry; sisters, Peggy Perry Elliott
Mrs. Crabtree is survived by her son, Larry Crabtree of Durham, NC; daughter, Amy Seagroves (Terry) of Apex, Tracey Crabtree of Durham, NC; brothers, Horace Perry of Durham, NC, Ralph Perry (Carole) of Durham, NC, Felton Perry (Brenda) of Durham; sisters, Shirley Byrd (David) of Durham, NC, Edith Daniel of Oxford, NC, Janet Stewart of Durham, NC, Alma Pope (Larry) of Bahama, NC, sister-in-law, Margaret Ray; step-granddaughter, Tina Seagroves and numeous other nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Durham Memorial Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Denton. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
