Anna Mae (Shireman) Lopp

Anna Mae (Shireman) Lopp, 95, passed away Friday, August 17, 2018. The daughter of the late Harvey and Maude Smith Shireman, Ann was born December 18, 1922 in Corydon, Indiana. Over the years, Ann had made many friends and memories in southern Indiana, Louisville, and St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoyed a successful career in cosmetology, including becoming a director of multiple cosmetology vocational schools. During her years as director, "Miss Ann" guided many young hairdressers in pursuit of their professional careers.
Survivors include her four children, Judith Stewart (Phillip), John Lopp (Debi), Betty Lopp, and Douglas Lopp; sister, Louise Sanford; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
All services are private. Ann will be entombed next to her husband, Maurice Lopp, at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Petersburg, Florida.
