Born Jan. 7, 1916, in Smith, he was a son of the late Calvin and Rachel Pace Saylor.
He was a retired 27 year employee of General Motors in Pontiac, Mich., and a member of Stanford Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Evey Hurst Saylor; two sons, Marshall W. Saylor of Union Lake, Mich., and Robert R. Saylor of West Bloomfield, Mich.; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Arbie L. Saylor and John A. Saylor Jr.; and a daughter, Freida A. Harper.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home by Dortha Grider. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
