Alice (Farrands) Casati, 106, of Portland and formerly of Vernon, beloved wife of the late John Casati, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Richard and Louise (Beoubois) Farrands, she lived most of her life in the Vernon/Rockville area before moving to Portland two years ago. Alice was a longtime devoted member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Vernon. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her grandson Gregory Casati, and her brother and three sisters. Her family would like to thank all the residents and staff at Court Towers in Vernon and Portland Care and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care and kindness they gave to Alice.
