NEPHI - Word was received here Thursday of the death, in San Diego, California, of H.E. Howell, 82, father of Mrs. Florence H. Chase, and former resident of this city.
Mr. Howell was born in Cheltenham, England, November 26, 1853. He married Tryphena Warmington in Bournemouth, England in 1878 and they emigrated to Utah in October 1893. After spending several years in Salt Lake City, they moved to Nephi where they made their home until 1915. Sine that time they resided in Nevada and California.
Surviving are Mrs. Chase, Nephi; Harry W. Howell, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Vernon W. Howell, San Diego; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
