The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Garvin Slemmons died yesterday afternoon, February 3, 1916. Internment took place in the Mitchell Cemetery this forenoon, being preceded by a short funeral service conducted by Rev. Slack at the home of the paternal grandparents of the child, M. Slemmons, in Mitchell. The babe was born January 5th just past, and had never been well. The parents have the sympathy of all. Mitchell Index February 4, 1916
