From the SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE, January 21, 1936, page 22:

Alexander Kolczynski, aged 73, rural route No. 4, Redwood road, North Litierty, this county, died at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon in his home following two weeks' illness.

He was born in Poland in 1863 and came to South Bend from that country 55 years ago, marrying a year later Miss Catherine Szczypski, who survives.

Also surviving are seven sons, Clement and John, of Muskegon, Mich., Leo, Alexander, Walter, Casimir and Joseph, of South Bend and a daughter, Mrs. William Paczesny of Muskegon; a brother, Marion Kolczynski and a sister, Mrs. Angeline Cybart both of South Bend.
