Mrs. Naomi Mae Mount, 87, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018, at her home. She was the wife of the late Maurice Monroe Mount, Jr., who died in 2012. Born in Jefferson on December 25, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Roger Cleveland and Fannie Grace Pearl Snoots.

Naomi was a homemaker for most of her life, she enjoyed feeding the humming birds in her yard and working in her flower gardens.

Surviving are her three sons, John W. Mount and wife Deborah, of New Market, David E. Mount, of Ijamsville and Steven E. Mount, of New Market, her brother-in-law, Frank Rippeon, of Keymar, step granddaughter, Tracey Lambert and husband Jesse, step great grandson, Eugene Lambert and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Raymond, Roy, Millard and Roger Snoots, Hilda Harshman, Ruth Stang, Grace Stang and Ruby Rippeon.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, August 9, 2018, in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick. Arrangements are with the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, Frederick, MD. Those wishing to attend should meet inside the main gate of the cemetery, by 1:45 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
