Note: According to Samuel Sewall's Diary, Sarah was entombed in the "South-burying place" on Tuesday, March 7th [1726/7]. This is NOT Boston's South End Burial Ground, which wasn't opened until 1810. I'm not sure which cemetery this is referencing. Elliott Burial Ground in Roxbury, maybe?

Sarah was the youngest child born to Rev. John Wheelwright and his second wife, Mary Hutchinson. She died "in her 79th year", making 1648 her most likely birth year. Her father was preaching at Hampton (now NH) as Mr. Dalton's colleague in 1648, so Sarah was likely born there.

Sarah married (1) before 1671 Richard Crisp of Boston, with whom she had a daughter and a son. She m. (2) in Boston on 21 Feb 1700/1 Nathaniel Williams, who d. 23 Dec 1714.
