NEW SALEM--
Died, June 1, at the residence of her son, Jesse Bass, aged 81 years. Aunt Sallie, as she was familiarly known, was an old landmark. She was a Christian and has gone to her reward. Her remains were laid to rest beside her husband at Tyner's Chapel, a large concourse of relatives and friends be- present. Rev. Fugate conducted the funeral services.
