MEMPHIS - Marguerite Allard Champion, 93, died Monday, April 23, 2007.
Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gary Boles officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Resthaven Memorial Park in Jacksonville by Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis.

Mrs. Champion was born Sept. 8, 1913, in Ireland, Texas, to Charles Dow and Maggie Cherry Allard. She married V.D. Champion on May 14, 1937, in Dawson.

Survivors include two daughters, Anne Chamberlain of Memphis and Judy DuFrain of Savage, Minn.; a brother, Dr. Charles Allard of Austin; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
