AHLERS, Joanne - Age 76 years. Joanne Ahlers passed away at her Petaluma residence on March 27, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Ray Ahlers. Devoted mother of Ron Ahlers and his wife Peggy and the late Russ Ahlers and Randy Ahlers. Dear grandmother of Jeff Ahlers of Cotati, Megan Ahlers, and Lorne Ahlers both of Petaluma. Born and reared in Rochester, New York, Joanne moved to Petaluma in 1966. She worked side by side with Ray distributing the San Francisco Chronicle in Petaluma, and doing the books for Ahlers Construction Company. She loved gardening and traveling and had just returned from a trip to Hawaii. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY AND CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma 707-763-4131.
