Her memorial service will be 6:00 PM Friday evening in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:30 PM until the hour of service on Friday. Mrs. Weeks was born September 22, 1939, in Walterboro, SC, a daughter of Rufus Crosby and Gracie Langdale Crosby. She attended Northwood Assembly, and was a former employee of Kores and a former store manager for 7-Eleven. Mrs. Weeks liked flower gardening and spending time with her late husband at horse shows. She enjoyed helping people and was a caregiver for many years. But Mrs. Weeks especially loved her family and spending time with them. She was the widow of W.D. "Donnie" Weeks.
Surviving are, two sons, Jeff Black of Goose Creek, and Karl Black and his wife, Gail, of Macedonia; nine grandchildren, Amanda Black, Jefferson "Bubba" Black, III, Brian (Michele) Black, Alyssa Black, Jeffrey Black, Nicholas Black, Meagan Black, Kaitlin (Andrew) Mewshaw, and Allison Black; and six great grandchildren, Donovan Epps, Kobee Black, Aleah Black, Emma Black, Adyson Black, and Timothy Ankenbauer.
