She was born to Herman and Ethel Hearron in Minden, Louisiana. At an early age the family settled in Hughes Springs, Texas where Anita graduated from Hughes Springs High School. After graduation she moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where she embarked on her chosen endeavor in accounting.
While in working in this area, through a chance meeting she met and married Dr. Perry Hollembeak. Their mutual pledge and commitment to each other lasted throughout many years of marriage.
Anita was a member of First United Methodist Church where in earlier years she worked with the "little people", age's two to four. She also spread love through weekly activities and treats to those in The Oaks facility where she had been a resident during a "rehab" experience. She loved to play bridge at the Shreveport Bridge Unit and Tournament Bridge around the area.
She is survived by her husband Perry, a sister Patricia Niblett, and her beloved nephews, Dr Mark Niblett and wife Lisa, Sugg Niblett, Joe Pat Niblett and wife Linda, Christian Dyer, and several great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their great appreciation to Mary Daniels for her years of loving care and support to Anita and to the staff at Hospice of Shreveport and Bossier for their outstanding help.
Graveside services will be conducted by Dr. Carl E. Rhoads of First United Methodist Church of Shreveport at Woodlawn Cemetery in Hughes Springs, Texas on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Church of Shreveport or to donor's choice.
