Annie Hardin was born May 25, 1914 in Windsor, Missouri, the oldest child of Thomas Jefferson and Ada Leota (Lewis) McDonald. She was married to Troy Hardin on March 27, 1943 at the county courthouse in Clinton, Missouri. She owned and operated the Calhoun Greenhouse for 29 years. She also worked at the Windsor International Shoe Factory for over 15 years and operated a trash hauling service with her husband in the Windsor and Calhoun communities for several years.
She died Saturday afternoon, February 13, 1999, at the Truman Valley Healthcare Nursing Home in Windsor, Missouri. She was buried in Laurel Oak Cemetery beside her husband, Troy, who preceded her in death. They had no children.
