Mary Adeline Asquith

Age 88, of Roanoke, WV passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at her residence, having lived a long happy life.

She was born in Lewis County, WV on January 17, 1930 a daughter of the late Ernest Rye Heater and Vadie Riffle Heater.

On December 14, 1953 she married Clarence Eugene Asquith and they celebrated 49 years of marriage before his passing on February 23, 2003.

She is survived by two children: Jeffery Lynn Asquith and wife Ruby, of Tarpon Springs, FL and Mary Alice Asquith of Weston; three grandchildren: Justin Asquith and wife, Johonna of Trinity, FL, Rachel Kroupa and husband, Nicholas of Palm Harbor, FL and Mary Anne Bleigh of Jane Lew, WV; four great grandchildren: Breanna Bleigh, Madison Bleigh, Alexander Asquith, and Wyatt Kroupa; one brother, Lawrence Heater of Roanoke; sister-in-law, Sandra Heater of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by eight siblings: Clarence Heater, Russell Heater, Allen Heater, Velva Woody, Ernestine Ables, Helen Butcher, Juanita Smith and Robert Heater.

Mary was a thoughtful, caring homemaker who enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing scratch off lottery tickets, watching westerns, game shows, and WWE, and visiting casinos with family and friends.

Friends and family will gather at the Pat Boyle Funeral Home and Cremation Service at 144 Hackers Creek Road in Jane Lew from 10 AM - 12 Noon on Sunday, July 22, 2018.

Funeral Services will follow at 12 Noon from the Pat Boyle Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Roanoke.
