GAINESBORO - Funeral services for Edgar "Bud" Anderson, 80, were held yesterday at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson Funeral Home with burial in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville Community of Jackson County.
Mr. Anderson died Saturday, May 12, 1990 in St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville.
Born May 5, 1910 in Jackson County, he was the son of the late Beecher and America Elizabeth Chaffin Anderson.
Mr.Anderson was a resident of the Dudney's Hill Community of Jackson County and was a retired employee of the Twin Lakes Telephone Cooperative in Gainesboro. He was a member of the Dudney's Hill Church of Christ.
His family includes his wife, Byrd Bowman Anderson of Gainesboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Kenneth Eads of Celina; two sisters, Martha Lou Mayberry of Gainesboro and Nell Ballard of Cookeville and one grandchild, Kenna Kay Spivey of Celina.
He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Matthew Adam Spivey and six brothers.
