Janice Ethridge Alexander, age 69 of McCalla, passed away on July 7, 2018.
She retired from UAB, Spain Rehab, after 20 years of service. She was a member of Tannehill Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Arthur Alexander; one daughter, Cynthia A. Holland; one son, Kevin Alexander; two grandchildren, Spencer Alexander and Jeanie Jones; four great grandchildren, Eric, Shaeleigh and Emmett Jones and Jacelyn Alexander; three sisters, Willodean Hunt, Ruth Parker and Mary Jo May; one brother, J.V. Ethridge; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 10 AM until 11 AM at the McCalla Memorial Funeral Home with services to begin in the Chapel at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Prudes Creek Cemetery.
