Chattanooga, Tenn. - FRANCES CASHION CANNON, 83, formerly of Brighton, TN, died Monday, July 11, 2005 at The Stratford House in Chattanooga, TN. She was a retired school teacher after 26 years and a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Alvin F. Cannon; her sons, Tom Cannon of Chattanooga, TN, and Jim Cannon of Ooltewah, TN; her daughter, Ann Cannon Crais of Johnson City, TN; her sister, Christine Cashion Patrick of Memphis; her brother, William L. Cashion of Horn Lake, MS; 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga. The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Northminster Presbyterian Church or Susan B. Komen Foundation in Dallas, TX Memorial Park Funeral Home, Memphis, has charge. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 7/15/2005)
