Mr. Rice was born March 12, 1941, in Ashville, NC, a son of Wesley Rice and Nettie Lamb Rice. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Rice was the co-owner/operator of Arrowhead Motel and Campground, St. Stephen.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy Cutshaw Rice of St. Stephen; two daughters, Janet Cutshall and her husband Bobby and Dorothy Moore and her husband Boyd all of Greeneville, TN; a son, Eugene Rice and his wife Patricia of St. Stephen; two sisters, Hilda Rice and Carolyn Cook both of Greeneville, TN; a brother, Ronnie Rice of Greeneville, TN.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
