Ella Genevieve Eckerd, age 91, of Berkeley Springs, WV, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at The Berkeley Springs Center.

Born February 17, 1927 in Olympia, WA, she was the daughter of the late George and Gladys Walden Linden.

She was a member of the Berkeley Springs Church of Christ. Ella was a homemaker all her life to her husband and children. She enjoyed doing word searches, watching food shows, doing embroidery and studying and reading the Bible.

Ella is survived by her children, Marilyn Martha Hall and Sue Anne Grace Guidara, both of Berkeley Springs, WV, Rodney Eckerd of Hustontown, PA, one brother, Gustoff Linden of Washington, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years George Foster Eckerd, six sisters, Lucille Denhart, Violet McNeil, Dixie Linden, Pauline Linden, Arlene Linden, Nettie Linden, four brothers, Elgin Linden, Clarence Linden, George E. Linden, Jr. and John Linden.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Berkeley Springs Church of Christ, 290 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, WV, with Van Sprague officiating. Private burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
