Mrs. Eunice E. Hiler, former Waverly resident, died at the home of her son, Harry Olin Hiler, in Virden, Friday afternoon, April 3. She was 84 years of age, having been born July 3, 1857, in Maxwell township, Sangamon County, Illinois.
Deceased has been a resident of Waverly for a number of years. Her husband, W. A. Hiler, preceded her in death in May, 1935.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alva Jarrett, of Virden, Miss Pearl Hiler, of Carthage, and Mrs. Ethel Garras, of Detroit, Mich.; ond son, H. Olin Hiler, of Virden; and one brother, Ollie Edwards, of Downers Grove.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, at the Jones Funeral Chapel in Virden, Rev. W. Marshall, pastor of the Virden Baptist Church officiating.
Burial was in East Cemetery, Waverly.
