Abraham J. "Abe" Abdulla, 83, of Lawrence passed away on Saturday February 5, 2011 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill. Abe was born in Methuen and raised on White Street in Lawrence. He was educated in The Lawrence School System and was the son of the late, Abdulla J. Abdulla and Mary (Yazbek) Abdulla. Abe was a member of St Anthony Maronite Church, Lawrence and was ordained the first Sub-Deacon in 1978 at St Anthony Maronite Church. As a Sub-Deacon of St Anthony Church, he helped serve masses and gave communion to the sick at home and in nursing homes. He was also a member of The Holy Name Society of the church. He served with The US Army during World War II and worked for 38 years at General Tire Bolta Co and also worked for 10 years at Alps Sportswear Manufacturing Co, Inc
