Adelaide Capuano, 95, of Pine Hill Avenue, Johnston, died Friday, June 29, 2018 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence. She was the widow of Vito Capuano. They had been married for 56 years before his death in 2006.
Born in Providence, she was one of four children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carmine Tasca. She had lived in Johnston since 1949.
She is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Alice and Anthony Capuano of Johnston and her large extended family of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Eleanor Pitassi and Charles and Anthony Tasca.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Monday 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of RI or RI Meals on Wheels.
