Ruth M. McAllister, 79, of the Canton section of Lower Alloway Creek Township, died Thursday, November 17, 1994 in Venice, FL, while visiting her daughter.
Mrs. McAllister was a homemaker and was a member of the Friesburg Lutheran Church.
Born in Cohansey, she was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by three sons, Wayne of Stow Creek, Gary of Monkton, MD, and Jeffrey of Canton; three daughters, Jean Johnson of Venice, FL, Dianne Lang of Deerfield and Debbie Marino of Stow Creek; four brothers, Wallace Halter of Stow Creek, George Halter of Mannington, Woodrow Halter of Deerfield and Herbert Halter of Cohansey; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 am Tuesday, November 22nd at the Russell C. Sheppard Funeral Home, 613 Salem-Quinton Road, Salem, where friends may call after 9 am.
Burial will be in Fernwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Bridgeton.
