Inside of the Rose Chapel Mausoleum at Roseland Park Cemetery. This is one of the many buildings designed by Louis Kamper. He and his family are interred on the left. The interior of this building is faced with Vermont marble.

The Livingstone Lighthouse, designed by Louis Kamper, is Michigan's only one made from all marble, standing on the shores of Belle Isle in the Detroit River. A marble plaque in the back reads: THIS LIGHT HOUSE IS ERECTED BY THE LAKE CARRIER'S ASSOCIATION AND CITIZENS OF DETROIT TO HONOR THE MEMORY OF WILLIAM LIVINGSTONE, PRESIDENT: LAKE CARRIER'S ASSOCIATION 1902-1925 AND THROUGHOUT HIS ACTIVE LIFE ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT AND PUBLIC SPIRITED CITIZENS OF DETROIT 1844-1925

The Book Tower/Building (1916 with enhancements 1926)designed by Louis Kamper. It is one of the very few Italian Renaissance skyscrapers left in America.

Colonel Frank Joseph Hecker commissioned Louis Kamper to build Tannenheim, a home for Hecker's son, Frank C. Hecker and his wife "Miss Susie." After the death of Frank C. Hecker the home was inherited by a relative of Miss Susie (Johnnie Hare) and his wife, Elsie Jones Hare. Posthumously, Elsie was nominated for the 1986 Florida Women's Hall of Fame, enthusiastically endorsed by many of her former pupils.
